Minimum Education Requirement
There is no minimum education requirement for appearing CISA examination. Any individual interested in Information Systems Audit can apply for the examination. (Go Top)
Nature & Content of Exam
CISA exam consist of 200 multiple choice &questions administered over a continuous four hour session covering all the seven job domains of the CISA Exam. Candidates are expected to apply their knowledge of IS Audit while answering the questions in CISA Exam. (Go Top)
Negative Score
There is no negative score for the wrong answers. Candidates are encouraged to answer all the questions.(Go Top)
Examination Fee

Registration
Candidates can now register online for the examination using the ISACA website. Alternatively, candidates can Fax / Mail the registration form.(Go Top)
Not a member
For registering there is no requirement that you need to be a member. However, if you are a member you get concession in the exam fee apart from the other membership benefits.(Go Top)
Test Centres
Currently Dubai and Abu Dhabi are the test centers in UAE.(Go Top)
Exam Frequency
The exam is conducted annually once generally in the month of June.(Go Top)
Previous Question Papers
CISA Exam is a closed exam. Question and Answer papers are not released. However, enough questions are available for practice and preparation.(Go Top)
Coaching Classes
Every year chapter conducts CISA review course for the benefit of the students appearing for the CISA examination. This course is only a supplement to the candidates who have already prepared for the exam and is not aimed at providing coaching to the candidates appearing for the exam.(Go Top)
Study Material
CISA Review Manual is a comprehensive reference guide designed to assist individuals in preparing for the CISA examination. The manual also contains references where additional guidance can be found. Apart from this, ISACA also sells CDROM containing CISA review Questions, Answers and Explanations, which can be a supplement to the candidate's preparation.(Go Top)
Arrangements
UAE chapter does not stock or sell the study material. Candidates need to make their own arrangement to buy the required study aids.(Go Top)
Refund
Candidates unable to take the exam are eligible for refund of registration fees, less a US $100 processing fee, if such a request is received in writing on or before the date prescribed by ISACA. Alternatively candidates have option to defer the examination.(Go Top)
Deferal
Candidates unable to take the exam are eligible for a one-time deferral of registration fees, if such a request is received in writing on or before the date prescribed by ISACA. Deferrals are nonrefundable and will require a US $50 re-registration fee to be paid at the time of registration for the next year exam.(Go Top)
