About ISACA

History

ISACA was incorporated in 1969 by a small group of individuals who recognized a need for a centralized source of information and guidance in the growing field of auditing controls for computer systems. Today, ISACA has more than 95,000 members worldwide.

Governance

Boards and executive management expect IT to deliver business value. They want fast, secured, high-quality solutions and services, a reasonable return on investment, and a move from efficiency and productivity gains toward value creation and business effectiveness. IT governance is a key component of enterprise governance and success.

@ISACA

@ISACA was launched in January 2010 to provide timely information about ISACA, new and updated ISACA offerings, and relevant industry news. @ISACA is delivered biweekly via e-mail with full articles housed on the ISACA web site

What We Offer & Who We Serve

ISACA provides practical guidance, benchmarks and other effective tools for all enterprises that use information systems. Through its comprehensive guidance and services, ISACA defines the roles of information systems governance, security, audit and assurance professionals worldwide. The COBIT, Val IT and Risk IT governance frameworks and the CISA, CISM and CGEIT certifications are ISACA brands respected and used by these professionals for the benefit of their enterprises.

IT Governance Institute (ITGI)

ISACA formed the ITGI to focus on original research, publications, resources a nd symposia on IT governance and related topics. In addition to the work carried out by the ITGI, ISACA addresses the topic through a regular column in, and occasional dedicated issues of, the ISACA Journal, conference sessions and tracks, and education courses.

About ISACA UAE Chapter

The UAE Chapter was formed on 25th June 1997 and is the 150th Chapter of growing International organization. UAE Chapter serves the members from all the emirates of UAE namely Abu Dhabi (Capital), Dubai (Commercial hub), Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.ISACA® UAE Chapter has become one of the most active and successful chapters by hosting meetings, seminars, conferences and workshops for promotion and propagation of Information Technology Governance, Information Systems (IS) Audit, IS Security and IS Control in UAE . The ISACA® UAE Chapter has been conducting classes for candidates appearing for ISACA®s prestigious Certifications namely Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA®), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM®), Certified in Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) examinations. The chapter also hosts regular meetings and seminars designed for both IT Security, Assurance and Audit professionals.
